What it does

HitchPoint checks your tongue weight percentage, what is left of your payload, how much GCWR headroom you have, and what the tongue load does to your axles. It exports a weight sheet as a PDF.

Common questions

Does it know my truck's ratings?

No, and it should not guess. You enter GVWR, GCWR, GAWR, curb weight and the hitch rating from your own door-jamb sticker and hitch label. HitchPoint ships no vehicle database.

Can I skip the scale?

No. HitchPoint is an aid. Verify on a certified scale, and never exceed the lowest applicable rating.

Privacy

HitchPoint collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no network connection. The app never sends your data anywhere, because it never sends anything anywhere.

• Everything you enter stays on your device.
• We cannot see your data, and neither can anyone else.
• Nothing is shared with or sold to third parties.
• Delete the app and the data is gone with it.
• If you email us for support, we see only what you choose to put in that email.

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
